More than a dozen Newhouse School journalism and photography students captured photos, video, and audio at the 42nd Empire State Winter Games from Feb. 3-6, 2022, based in Lake Placid, N.Y, and throughout the Adirondacks region. With more than 2,000 competitors for 30+ sports, the Games is North America’s largest multi-sport amateur athletic winter sporting event.
